A few words about me

Jane is at an 18th century barn frame loom in the Artisan Center of Heritage Farm Museum & Village.


D.  Jane Gilchrist is a weaver, spinner, and heritage education consultant  from Stonewood, WV.  She is a juried member of Tamarack, the premiere WV  Arts & Craft Center.  Her work has been exhibited in gallery shows  across the state and is available for purchase from the artist and at  several gift shops in the region.

She welcomes visitors to her studio, if she's home she's open, but its always best to contact her first!

An Exciting New Year!

2019 is full of promise in the new studio space at Stonewood, WV where Jane will be teaching weaving classes and sharing her love of textiles & fiber.  The wonderful gardens surrounding her studio will provide dyestuffs thanks to the care of her mother.  Plans are underway to make Mug Ruggin It more widely available in the region and as a recently accepted member in WV Heritage Crafts in Anmoore, WV her work is available locally.  Watch for more exciting news about Jane and her craft, coming soon to your radio!
